These terms govern use of www.fiscorafinancial.com, operated by Fiscora Financial (“Fiscora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them with our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you agree to these website terms to the extent enforceable under applicable law. Professional services require a separately accepted engagement.
Website Information and Professional Engagements
Website articles, illustrations and service descriptions provide general information. They are not individualized tax, legal or investment advice and may not address your particular facts or the latest change in law. Seek advice appropriate to your circumstances before acting.
Browsing the website, making an inquiry or requesting a free review does not create a professional relationship, authorize a filing or establish representation before a tax authority. Work begins only when we accept an engagement and agree on its scope, fees, responsibilities and timing. A signed engagement agreement controls professional-service terms where they differ from these website terms, subject to applicable law.
Business formation assistance does not, by itself, include legal advice, banking approval, licensing or tax-election eligibility. Representation, amendments, notices, appeals, additional jurisdictions and ongoing compliance are included only when expressly agreed.
Outside Preparation Assistance
Fiscora may use independent professionals or contractors, including personnel outside the United States, to assist with agreed services. The engagement and any required separate tax-information consent address applicable access and disclosures. Website acceptance does not authorize offshore access to your tax information. Use of contractors does not remove Fiscora’s applicable professional or safeguarding responsibilities. See our Privacy Policy.
Client Information and Cooperation
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and timely information and for telling us about relevant changes, notices, income, accounts and business interests. Provide only information you are authorized to share. Keep records supporting your returns and business filings, and review deliverables carefully before approving them.
We may rely on information you provide, but may request clarification or supporting records, and may decline to proceed where information is incomplete, inconsistent or unsupported. Client responsibilities do not remove Fiscora’s applicable professional standards, due-diligence requirements or legal obligations.
Tell us promptly about a suspected error or a notice connected with our work so it can be evaluated. Identifying an error does not automatically establish responsibility for it; we will assess the facts and applicable engagement terms.
Filing Approval, Deadlines and Tax Payments
You must review a return and provide the applicable signature or e-file authorization before transmission. Website terms are not a substitute for Form 8879 or another required authorization. Filing is not complete merely because a draft is delivered or payment is made; electronic acceptance or other appropriate filing confirmation matters. Rejected filings may require prompt follow-up and additional information.
Provide records and approvals within the deadlines agreed with us. Unless an engagement expressly provides otherwise, you remain responsible for tax payments and statutory filing obligations. An extension of time to file generally does not extend time to pay. We cannot guarantee that late or incomplete submissions can be processed by a deadline.
Authorized IRS e-file provider status concerns participation in electronic filing; it does not mean IRS endorsement, certification of all services or a guarantee that a return will be accepted or audited favorably. See IRS Form 8879 information and extension guidance.
Fees, Offers and Payment
Published prices describe the listed service scope and may not include government charges, third-party costs or additional work. Your accepted quote or engagement identifies the applicable fees, payment schedule and deliverables. Changes in scope should be agreed before additional work is performed.
The free prior-year return review is a review offer; it does not automatically include amended returns, representation or a refund claim. The new-customer 10% discount applies to eligible services as confirmed in your written quote. Ask us to confirm eligibility, scope and any offer conditions before accepting work. No offer guarantees a tax refund, savings, credit, election, government approval or other outcome.
If you have a billing concern, contact us so we can investigate and seek a resolution. Nothing in these terms removes a non-waivable right to dispute a payment or seek a remedy under applicable law.
Cancellation and Refunds
Notify us promptly if you wish to cancel an engagement. Cancellation, fees for work already performed, approved third-party costs and any refund are governed by your accepted engagement and applicable law. We will explain the work completed and charges relevant to your request.
A request to cancel does not withdraw an already transmitted or accepted filing, undo a government registration or suspend a statutory deadline. Tell us if you need help determining the next steps. Corrections and remedies are evaluated under the engagement and applicable law; professional obligations and non-waivable rights remain in effect.
Portal Use and Electronic Delivery
Our Client Portal provides web and mobile app access for document sharing. Keep account credentials private, use available security controls and report suspected unauthorized access. Do not use another person’s account without authorization. Portal-provider terms may apply in addition to your Fiscora engagement.
Delivery methods, electronic-signature arrangements and notice procedures are established through the engagement and applicable authorizations. Keep your contact details current, review service communications and download records you need to retain. Website access alone does not authorize electronic signatures or every form of electronic notice. Fiscora’s own security responsibilities are not transferred to you by this section.
Acceptable Use and Intellectual Property
Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, interfere with the website or portal, impersonate another person or use our services for unlawful or fraudulent activity. We may restrict website access reasonably necessary to address misuse or security concerns, subject to applicable law and existing contractual duties.
Fiscora content and brand assets belong to Fiscora or their respective owners. You may view and print website content for personal reference. Reproduction for commercial distribution or use of Fiscora branding requires permission unless otherwise allowed by law. Government resources, third-party logos and other licensed materials retain their respective ownership and usage rules.
Availability, External Services and Liability
We make reasonable efforts to maintain useful website information, but do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free website content. To the extent permitted by law, general website material is provided as available without additional warranties. External sites, government systems and portal services can experience outages or changes outside our control. We do not guarantee third-party decisions or processing times.
To the extent permitted by law, Fiscora is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising solely from use of general website content or website unavailability. This website limitation does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, excuse fraud or willful misconduct, or override applicable confidentiality, safeguarding or professional obligations. Responsibility for professional services is addressed in the accepted engagement and applicable law..
Governing Law and Resolving Concerns
These website terms are governed by Arkansas law and applicable federal law, without excluding mandatory protections that apply in another jurisdiction. Contact us first about a concern so we can attempt to resolve it. Available regulatory complaint procedures and non-waivable legal remedies remain available.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not, by itself, waive it. Changes to website terms apply prospectively; we will update the date and provide any legally required notice. Changes do not retroactively modify an accepted engagement or replace a required tax-information consent.
